I wonder if Durban Poison was partially responsible for getting me in and later near a suicidal mind set. It's the only strain I've smoked and then gone to that headspace; could be pure coincidence, but I can't justify risking it again.
This sucks because Durban Poison has otherwise worked so beautifully for me.

The one time I smoked this strain I felt like it was making me paranoid. It's probably best if I don't smoke it.
Smooth or harsh:
Taste: Tastes odd at first but then nice aftertaste and then next hit tastes good. Kinda liquorish taste. First I’ve found that I would love to smoke just for the taste like how I drink coffee or tea for taste.
Anxiety: may cause anxiety/paranoia

It felt wrong the whole time I felt it, like something was off and this was a bad strain for me, even though I couldn't say exactly why. I plan to avoid this in the future.

Existential crisis. Which honestly could be good or bad depending on my state of mind and if I'm with others. Smoke again but proceed with caution.

Taste: Tastes almost citrusy. And earthy. First time I’ve found one that tastes citrusy. Maybe a bit like lemon? Almost minty. Only got the mint at the end.
