Purpose: help with headache and see what this combo is like for helping me sleep. Plus I want to actually go to bed in a halfway decent mood, which is a nice luxury I can actually manage these days with the help of pot. Notes going forward will be written after smoking this combo.
Smooth or harsh: very smooth
Taste: not sure, but there’s a nice almost earthy aftertaste
Anxiety: helps
Depression: helps
Sleep: seems to help
Sensory issues: DBT
Helps migraine so long as I stay relatively still. After getting up and walking around it suddenly hit hard again. Ow. High crept up on me, I didn’t feel very high for a while (but expected it would hit if I stood up) until it suddenly hit me how high I was while still sitting.
Unsure of how much it helps anxiety.
Notes form the next day: falling asleep was...interesting. I’ll sometimes have minor auditory hallucinations while falling asleep, and it’s never disturbed me before (it’s normally just “oh auditory hallucination, awesome, I’m falling asleep!”). This time they were “loud” enough to jolt me out of falling asleep, which was weird and annoying. And as a separate issue, I also seemed to keep making noises while falling asleep, which also woke me up. Despite this I think this combo is worth using again to help me sleep, since I think I’ve used these together at bedtime before (obviously, didn’t take notes at the time) without any of this happening.
Apparently I erased some of my notes from last night. I had some anxiety thoughts but mostly without the anxiety, so I thought this might be helpful for sitting with certain thoughts without having the fear response to them, to help me get used to having a non-fear response. A sort of explosive therapy. Just an idea, I’m not at all certain that this is even a good idea, it’s just an idea.
EDIT 6/29/2019
I tried this combo again last night. I had none of the auditory hallucinations and I wasn't waking myself up with making noises. It took me a while to get to sleep, possibly because I insisted on trying to watch science videos on YouTube, which I haven't tried before, and which I'm sure was not conducive to sleep.
I also found it not to be particularly smooth to smoke this time.
